Material added in my edit summarized as "merging" on 15 March 2004 was in fact contributed at Thespus: its contributors can be found at that article's page history (that article is now a redirect). Jwrosenzweig 00:57, 17 Mar 2004 (UTC)

November 23

[edit]

The Sports Night episode, and its mention in this article, references November 23, 534 BC as the date of Thespis' first performance. Is that confirmed, (and thus should be included in the main part of the article), or was that invented for the show? Nerrolken (talk) 00:16, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Relying on Sports Night is an iffy proposition at best. How anyone could determine that Thespis did what he did on 23 Nov. is a complete mystery. A character on this show once stated absolutely that Napoleon was murdered on Elba (that's what he said - I promise!) Aaron Sorkin is a know-it-all who doesn't know much, so never rely on anything you hear on this stupid show.209.179.21.14 (talk) 02:49, 17 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment

[edit]

This article is almost completely unreferenced and is full of weasel words. Assessment: Start. -- Ssilvers (talk) 21:38, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thespis and Aristoteles

[edit]

There is not, any way, reference to Thespis in Aristoteles's Poetics 84.101.98.210 (talk) 22:05, 4 September 2009 (UTC) jpia[reply]

Well, I thought if Aristotle did refer to Thespis, if at all, must be from his Poetics, because, it is not probable that any other works by him could refer to Thespis.

?? Did you just admit to completely making up a source? You suck. 77.165.250.227 (talk) 17:43, 12 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
