User talk:Patnaik~enwiki
Hi! I have moved Requests for comment/Stude62 to Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Stude62 (without a redirect) because that's the correct place for draft RFC's. Odd that you choose to file one in your second day in Wikipedia. What account you did use before User:Patnaik? jni 11:26, 6 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Request for Arbitration filed
[edit]Patnaik-
I have filed a request for arbitration with wikipedia that involves you and me. Never having done this before, I now find that I should have provided you with notice of filing. I apologize for the oversite on my part.
The request for arbitration was filed because 1) We don't seem to be able to solve our differences, 2)I am growing weary of you monitoring what I say to others when it doesn't involve you and then finding my comments plastered on the RfC page. Thirdly, you claimed in a February post in my RfC that you contacted the Archives of Ohio Methodism (AOM) and that you spoke to "a lady" and she could not verify all of my information. However in speaking with AOM, they have no record of any call on the topic at hand from you or anyone else (other than me) on the history of OWU according to the Archivist on staff. This of course apparently means that at least one of the comments that you have made about me appears not to true.
I have also asked the arbitration committee that the RfC be either archived or eliminated.
Again, I apologize for the oversight. user: stude62 user talk:stude62 23:02, 18 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Patnaik. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Patnaik~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
