Denton is a city in Jeff Davis County, Georgia, United States. The population was 189 in 2020.
History
[edit]The Georgia General Assembly incorporated the place in 1911 as the "Town of Denton".[4] The community most likely was named after Samuel Denton, an early settler.[5]
