"1988 - King Mahoonski, also known as Ryan Mahon-Abbott. a mythological god."

Is this not nonsense? I will be taking this out shortly. --Dyefade 14:57, 19 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

1389, Cosimo de' Medici, ruler of Florence (d. 1464) removed from Birth list, as other sources show it to be April 10th. Silica-gel (talk) 14:01, 10 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

1886 John Taylor did receive the mentioned revelation, the revelation is not controversial and is easily understood by knowing the vocabulary used (vocabulary that precedes the revelation). There is no mention of polygamy in the revelation and mainstream LDS have no issues with the revelation. It is simply used by the fundamentalists as justification. On the Google page it states that Google was incorporated on 7th September 1998, but it is listed on this page as well as at September_7. Which is correct? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.229.2.22 (talk) 19:41, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Removed. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 19:43, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It should be added that google launched in 1999 on 27th September, the website is advertising it's birthday today.78.109.182.11 (talk) 10:13, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It wasn't founded on the 27th. It was incorporated on the 4th. Google must be doing a month long thing on their web site. -- Mufka (u) (t) (c) 11:36, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

every single year they put their birthday logo up on the 27th. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 150.250.120.131 (talk) 03:13, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Right, has anyone actually ASKED Google why they choose the 27th September as their birthday: I’m finding nothing …  Cuddy2977 (talk) 13:17, 19 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

David Croft

David Croft (TV Producer)

I’ve tried adding David Croft — of Dad's Army and It Ain't Half Hot, Mum fame ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Croft_(TV_producer) ) — to the deaths section, but I’m blowed if I can work out how: is it possible someone could give me a hint, please. Thank you.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Cuddy2977 (talkcontribs) 13:56, 18 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

It was a result of the "P" in "(TV producer)" being capitalised. I have added the entry for you now. Jared Preston (talk) 14:45, 18 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, Jared … !

1944 – The Kassel Mission results in the largest loss by a USAAF group on any mission in World War II.

[edit]

I'm hesitant to unilaterally delete this on the chance I'm misunderstanding the post, but the Kassel Mission doesn't compare in terms of Allied losses to the Second Raid on Schweinfurt, and I don't see any information on the Kassel Mission page that offers information on either number or percentage losses of a single group on 27/28 September 1944.Eltrace (talk) 13:58, 27 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that it should be deleted, there isn't anything special about the bombing for the September 27th date for what was bombing attacks that lasted a year and a half. NZ Footballs Conscience(talk) 20:40, 27 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
