Lots of people see the Lord. Not all are notable. Salasks 01:56, Aug 2, 2004 (UTC)
In light of the info below, I recant my VfD nomination. As a show of good faith (bad pun), I copyedited it so it no longer reads like an evangelism. Salasks 21:34, Aug 3, 2004 (UTC)
- He didn't even see the Lord. He saw John the Baptist. How notable can a guy be if the Lord, who is omnipresent anyway, doesn't even bother appearing before him, but sends somebody else instead? Delete. Elf-friend 02:22, 2 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Apparently his visions are accepted by a small Mormon sect, which makes him notable; see Church of Christ with the Elijah Message. If you've never heard of him, you travel in the wrong circles, it seems. Smerdis of Tlön 02:54, 2 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Keep and clean: It's a real thing, moderately notable, but cleanup needs to take some of the definitiveness out of the article and insert an opening that locates this person. Just "W. A. Draves (dates) a Mormon visionary in the United States" would do the trick to help. Geogre 04:15, 2 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Keep and clean. In addition to the George's suggestions, reduce the "testimony" section to a couple key quotations or a general summary. --Benc 10:14, 2 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- keep. There is enough room for this type of information in Wikipedia. Arevich 18:22, 4 Aug 2004 (UTC)
- Put the information here on the page of the sect concerned. Mr Draves isn't notable by himself, as far as I can tell reviewing the article. --Sesel 03:51, 6 Aug 2004 (UTC)
