Mount Columbia (Canada)...move/name change needed
[edit]There's no need to specify Alberta in the dab here, and it's a misleading title as in other contexts editors might describe the mountain as being only in Albeta, and not mentioning British Columbia. I know a standing dab ordinarilly stays, but I have to wonder how this one got by the naming guidelines; in fact I came to this article because the listing of this mountain on the Columbia disambiguatino page had only placed it in Alberta. It may be Alberta's highest, but it's not only Alberta's.Skookum1 (talk) 04:10, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
- Agreed. Support proposed move. --Skeezix1000 (talk) 12:52, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
- Support, given that it straddles the BC-Alberta border. Mindmatrix 14:13, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
- Support per Mindmatrix. DigitalC (talk) 03:41, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
- Conditional support, as long as it's the only "Mount Columbia" in Canada. Bivouac does seem to indicate that. -- Spireguy (talk) 14:15, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
- A CGNDB search only shows this mountain. I might also suggest the alternative Mount Columbia (Columbia Icefield). RedWolf (talk) 17:11, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
