User talk:Gusd
Welcome to the Wikipedia. I noticed your article on Christian applied philosophical view of marriage. It appears to be a well researched and insightful article. It does have a tone that makes me think it is a personal essay, though. Wikipedia has a standing convention that we discourage original research. This is one of the important social controls that the community uses to maintain a strict neutral point of view. Sometimes it feels like overkill, but we've found it to be an essential policy.
I'd like to encourage you to look at some of our existing articles and add to them based on your expertise. Based on your first article, I'd suggest looking at marriage, Religious aspects of marriage, Herman Dooyeweerd and John Calvin. I'd also ask whether you consider Kalsbeek sufficiently notable for a separate encyclopedia article? I don't believe we have one on him yet. Please check out the guidelines at Criteria for Inclusion of Biographies as you think about that question.
Again, thanks for your contributions and welcome to Wikipedia. Rossami 03:16, 29 Aug 2004 (UTC)
