Side bar?
[edit]Perhaps, a side information bar in a similar format to the one Saint Ignatius High School, Cleveland, Ohio is using?
POV
[edit]The new material looks good, but the paragraph:
The growth continues today, in large part due to the efforts of Headmaster Henry "Skip" Flanigan. Western Reserve Academy maintains a high standard of academic and personal excellence, making it one of the premier boarding preparatory schools in the United States.
seems to have a bit too much POV.
- The new version is much better. Thanks! --Beirne 22:25, Mar 18, 2005 (UTC)

Criticism
[edit]Can someone put something else in here besides the usual viewbook factsheet data? I had heard that the school was undergoing some criticism of note for the path which its athletic program was taking in comparison to the academic standing of the school (I believe this was on NPR recently), but there's no mention of any of that here. Anyone able to fill in the blanks?24.185.81.230 07:24, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
Should this be addressed in the Wiki?

It doesn't seem relevant in describing the school, which I assume is the purpose of this article. The incident doesn't seem remarkable in any way. Similar incidents happen with regularity throughout the country each year. As well, very few school have not suffered some type of incident such as this, yet I cannot find any other boarding school entries that contain mention of their own incidents. The fact is that a single lapse in safety does not constitute noteworthiness over the history of a school. If there was a documented history of incidents that was in some way remarkable from that of similar institutions, then it's inclusion may have merit. However, to my knowledge, this is not the case. -- 164.107.243.139 (talk) 21:06, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
I came here wondering the same thing. What I find most interesting is what does it say about the school that teacher was allowed to return after such a grievous lapse? Especially so since the kids she burned had to see her on their return from surgeries and rehabilitation. (Yes, I am aware her son, not a student there but who accompanied her to school that day, was also burned.) Dhugot (talk) 20:05, 6 July 2019 (UTC)
