Ten horns

The following passage is contained in Constance's response:

SqueakBox's approach has been to delete facts that some might find as prophetic fulfillment -- e.g., the initial Reuters report I read on Javier Solana, the night of November 22, 1995 pointed out both as to the signing of a Treaty of Association with Israel and the forthcoming Barcelona Conference to be held in that Spanish city on November 27-28, 2005, that Solana held powers of attorney from THE EUROPEAN UNION and "THE TEN NATION WESTERN EUROPEAN UNION, A MILITARY FEDERATION". SqueakBox who through his Rastafarian filters believes this may be a "ten horn" tip off as contained in Daniel and Revelation prophecies in all the Jewish and Christian Bibles of the world (as to Daniel ones) and all the Christian Bibles as to Revelation/Apocalypse ones, chose to initially delete both the Barcelona Conference and the Western European Union references.

See here for a Christian explanation. I am starting to write about this at Javier Solana Antichrist allegations. While my interest in Solana is as Spanish politician I am learning all about these Beast allegations, to which these 10 horn prophecies seem to play a central part. From what I know of Rastafari it doesn't even comment on this 10 horn prophecy, and I don't think Rastafari has anything to do with this dispute. From my perspective these Christians fear that a united EU with the military muscle of the WEU could represent a threat to US geopolitical interests. As a pro-EU European I object to her POV politics in the article as it was. wikipedia is no more the place for an anti EU rant than it is for an anti American rant. I am no expert on biblical prophecy, but it seems to me they are using the bible in order to justify their fears of a strong and united EU becoming another superpower. Wikipedia is not the place to pedeal that sort of belief. This is what I believe is behind the whole dispute, ie politics not religion.
