Penticton-Summerland is a provincial electoral district in British Columbia, Canada.

Previously the district was named Okanagan-Penticton from 1991 to 2001, Penticton-Okanagan Valley from 2001 to 2009 and Penticton from 2009 to 2024. The riding adopted its current name and had modest boundary changes from the 2024 election, which implemented the results of the 2021 redistribution.

Geography

As of the 2024 provincial election, Penticton comprises the northern portion of the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen. It is located in southern British Columbia. Communities in the electoral district consist of Penticton and Summerland.[1]

History

Okanagan-Penticton was created for the 1991 election from parts of the dual member ridings of Boundary-Similkameen and Okanagan South.
