[edit]Hello,
I am the son of a woman who moved from England at 18, became a us citizen, married and had me as child. I am a us citizen but am researching if I have the blood right by law to have dual citizenship?

There should be a section on the situation of the Convention in the various European states, that is, which states have nationality laws already conforming to the convention, which states don't, and out of these, which ones plan to eventually conform.
- See British nationality law. If you were born in 1983 or later you may well be British automatically, if born between 8 February 1961 and 31 December 1982, you may be eligible to register as a British citizen. JAJ 15:50, 21 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit]It would be better to link to this page: http://conventions.coe.int/Treaty/Commun/QueVoulezVous.asp?NT=166&CM=1&DF=7/5/2007&CL=ENG which has the signatures and ratifications as well as the text.
