[edit]The article as I found it read like something from a Which tourist guide. I've tidied up the English, and tried to make it more like an Encyclopaedia article, but there's some way to go yet. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 21:47, 8 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Images
[edit]I think the article has too many images showing the panorama from Taormina instead of images of Taormina itself!!! For instance there isn't a photo of Piazza IX Aprile the main square! What do other contributors think? Jeanne Boleyn (talk) 16:59, 20 September 2021 (UTC)
Reference
[edit]Taormina is mentioned in the title of the song "Different World (Taormina.Me)" from the scottish band Simple Minds in their 2006 album "Black&White 050505". The lead singer of the band, Jim Kerr, owns an hotel in the city, "Villa Angela" (ref: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Kerr#Personal_life). The band also performs regularly in the teatro antico of the city (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-IKCPeKmdc).
