This page was not correct; it repeated a modern misunderstanding about the Twelve Days. It was also contradicted by the Epiphany entry, which correctly identified Epiphany as the twelfth day. I have corrected it, and used the opportunity to explain the common misunderstanding about ancient time reckoning.

I believe this is still incorrect. You count the NIGHTS correctly, December 25th being First Night and January 5th being Twelfth Night. But the First Day of Christmas follows the Eve, and is indeed Christmas Day. The Day of Epiphany is the first day of a new season following the Twelve Days of Christmas.

3 Kings

I had heard that the 12 nights, had something to do with the journey of the 3 kings. I thought this might be incorrect, because I thought the kings traveled for a month or two and showed up considerably after the fact...

Merging

Maybe these articles could be kept seperate as this discusses the festival (time-period). However, there should be better cross-linking, so people can easily find both types of information - and I'm not sure how I'd go about doing that.
