Athletics
[edit]Athletes from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines have so far achieved qualifying standards in the following athletics events (up to a maximum of 3 athletes in each event at the 'A' Standard, and 1 at the 'B' Standard):[1][2]
Natasha Mayers was the slowest qualifier in the 100 metres, before being forced to abandon the competition at the second round, while Andy Grant avoided the infamy of placing last in the men's 800 metres by only 3 seconds.
