Hi I'm Maximilian Haussler, I work in bioinformatics and I'm not really doing anything useful on wikipedia apart from writing about Butterbrot.

This is a nice formula:

Declaring your alternate account User:Mhaeussl

Hi Maximilian,

Based on edits you made on @Mhaeussl's talk page it looks like that your are the same person behind the two accounts (this one @Maximilianh and @Mhaeussl). While it's not forbidden to have multiple accounts on Wikipedia, there are fairly strict policies around using multiple accounts to prevent abuse. I don't see any issues with how you've used the accounts - but to prevent this from being an issue down the line, I'd recommend you add a template to your user page declaring that you are the same person behind the two accounts in line with WP:SOCK#NOTIFY. For example, you could place the following template: `{{User alternative account name|Maximilianh|Mhaeussl}}` on both of your user pages (not talk). You can read more about wikipedia's multiple account policy here: WP:Sockpuppetry, WP:LEGITSOCK. If you don't know how to add that template, I'm happy to do it for you if you'd like me to do so.
