Non-notable, not worthy of encyclopedia article. Founding member of a chapter of Hell's Angels and a current member - not enough... Or am I wrong? Niceguyjoey 01:37, Nov 6, 2004 (UTC)
- Send to clean up with a note on it, or delete. No, the guy is pretty important in the context of the killings at Altamont Speedway and the Rolling Stones "Gimme Shelter" documentary. He was one of the Hell's Angels who may have murdered a guy on film (he says he saw it but didn't do it). Multiple Google sites about him (as well as his own, of course). This substub is worthless, but the figure deserves either multiple mentions in articles or his own. Geogre 02:10, 6 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, expand. Barger is, I believe, the founder of the Hell's Angels, period. Previously, there was an article by this title that was a copyvio, and I imagine that was deleted some time back. But he's certainly notable as the founder of the most notorious motorcycle club in the world. --jpgordon{gab} 03:55, 6 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Keep and expand. It's a terrible stub, but Barger is a notable figure. Gamaliel 05:38, 6 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Keep and expand. Besides all the above, he is the single most famous Hell's Angel and author of an interesting (if self-serving) memoir. -- Jmabel | Talk 07:13, Nov 6, 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, expand, do a little research before nominating things on vfd. —siroχo 11:13, Nov 6, 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, the founder of Hell's Angels is definitely notable. I'd heard of him before seeing his name turn up here AAR. Smerdis of Tlön 13:40, 6 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, though it needs work. RickK 20:38, Nov 6, 2004 (UTC)
- Keep and send to cleanup. FWIW, didn't Barger found the Hells Angels in San Bernardino...? - Lucky 6.9 03:38, 7 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Most decidedly keep. Needs expansion. JFW | T@lk 04:07, 7 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Keep: a google search for "sonny barger" returns results related to this person, and a google search for "sonny barger" "hells angels" returns almost 2000 results...he is clearly notable. Maybe send it to requests for expansion since it's clearly smaller than it should/could be. -[[User:Frazzydee|Frazzydee|✍]] 04:15, 7 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- keep, and it should be moved to Sonny Barger, since that's what he's know by (I'm not sure if it's ok to move an article while it's on VfD). [[User:Lachatdelarue|Lachatdelarue (talk)]] 01:23, 8 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, clean up and redirect. Axl 17:05, 8 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, I recognised his name immediately, and I've never even sat on a motorcycle. Notable. -- GWO 09:43, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, But I agree it should be at Sonny Barger. -- JamesTeterenko 19:14, 11 Nov 2004 (UTC)
- Keep, move to Sonny Barger and cleanup a lot. --Phil | Talk 09:53, Nov 12, 2004 (UTC)
- Famous. Keep, blatantly. - David Gerard 19:44, 12 Nov 2004 (UTC)
