Updating and clarifying the memory card formats
[edit]Hey, I noticed all your edits in SD and xD, and I wanted to see if we couldn't work together on getting them a lot better. It's clear that you know a heck of a lot more about this than I do, but I'm not sure how much of this info isn't Wikibooks or otherwise misplaced stuff. (The big comparison chart in SD might be better as part of a comprehensive comparison of all the formats in memory card.) Want to hit me on AIM (xA Man In Blackx) or on my talk page or something and see if we can't get them to be readable, understandable, and comprehensive? A Man In Black 01:53, 22 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Compile farm and WP:NOT
[edit]Thank you for your contribution to Compile farm. I'd just like to point you at WP:NOT to review what Wikipedia is not. Wikipedia isn't the place to say what should be, or provide an opinion -- Wikipedia is not a publisher of original thought. In particular, WP:NOT section 1.3.4 might be of interest to you.
This is why I edited your essay out. Don't get me wrong, it's a great idea! Wikipedia is merely a place to maintain encyclopedic entries.
Like I said, thanks for you contributions, and keep 'em coming! --JStalk 00:09, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
Aftershock (sexual)
[edit]A "{{prod}}" template has been added to the article Aftershock (sexual), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. edgarde 18:20, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

August 2009
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles or other Wikipedia pages, as you did to Lathe (metal). Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" is strongly discouraged. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Wizard191 (talk) 23:35, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for April 23
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Types of radio emissions, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page LMRS (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Proposed deletion of ITU V.70
[edit]The article ITU V.70 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Some kind of walkthrough guide that I'm sure violates WP:NOR. Doesn't bother claiming notability as well.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Prevan (talk) 23:03, 15 July 2016 (UTC)
The article V.61 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (software) requirement. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page here in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back through WP:ECHO or by leaving a note at User talk:Piotrus. Thank you.

Temperature play
[edit]Hi, @Whitis! Two weeks ago, I proposed your article Temperature play for the Translation of the week project on Meta-Wiki. Consequently, I would really appreciate it if you could vote here for the proposal to succeed so that other Wikipedias are encouraged to translate it. --Brunnaiz (talk) 23:22, 29 August 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I've noticed that you have been adding your signature to some of your edits to articles, such as the edit you made to Because Music. This is a common mistake to make and has probably already been corrected. Please do not sign your edits to article content, as the article's edit history serves the function of attributing contributions, so you only need to use your signature to make discussions more readable, such as on talk pages or project pages such as the Teahouse. If you would like further information about distinguishing types of pages, please see What is an article? Again, thank you for contributing, and enjoy your Wikipedia experience! Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 20:36, 13 July 2023 (UTC)
Hello, I'm Arjayay. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the main body of Because Music. Generally, any relevant external links should be listed in an "External links" section at the end of the article and meet the external links guidelines. Links within the body of an article should be internal Wikilinks. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 20:36, 13 July 2023 (UTC)
