[edit]Are slide libraries used for other purposes as well -- are the slides of tissue kept by coroners or pathologists ever described as a "slide library" or is there such a thing in medical schools or the like? --Daniel C. Boyer 18:58, 21 Sep 2003 (UTC)
Yes, slide libraries also exist in non-art disciplines, especially biology. I have expanded the initial description of "slide library" to be more inclusive. We may want to rename the article to "Visual Resources Collections" or "Image Libraries" in the future. --Tornadox 00:36, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

The result of the proposal was Moved to Slide library. Duja 07:19, 17 October 2006 (UTC)
Slide Libraries & Visual Resources Collections → Slide library – No reason to put more than one name for the article in the title. Also capitalization and pluralization are wrong per WP:TITLE. Recury 19:58, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
