Hi there. Welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for your note at the new user log. It doesn't really matter how old you are - everyone here is judged by what they contribute, and anyone can be a helpful contributor if they want.
One useful thing you could do here is try to help make the science, technology, and math articles here easier to read. A lot of them are written by very educated people, which can cause problems because only other people with a lot of education can read them. If you read something you don't understand, ask a question on the talk page.
Plus, there are plenty of general information articles on Wikipedia. Edit an article on a city near you, or on your home state or country, or on anything that interests you.
Here are some links you might find useful, if you haven't discovered them yet: Wikipedia:How does one edit a page for editing help. Wikipedia:Manual of Style for format questions. Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines to find out what's ok and what's not. Wikipedia:Help for any other questions you might have. Wikipedia:Village pump to ask a question for everybody here.
Also, if you need anything feel free to leave a note on my talk page.

Oh, and thanks for restoring the information in Motorola 68008. There's a lot of work to do around here just correcting typos and repairing vandalism. It's not particularly interesting but most of us pitch in and help with it. Isomorphic 05:04, 20 Feb 2004 (UTC)
You're welcome, glad to have you here. Another tip: to sign messages, type three tildes (~~~) to sign just your username, and four tildes (~~~~) to sign you username and a timestamp. Most of the time people do use the timestamps, because it makes it easier to follow discussions. Isomorphic 05:37, 20 Feb 2004 (UTC)
