Hidden Track

[edit]

Tonight I uploaded Justified onto my iTunes so I could put it onto my iPod and when the album has finished uploading all the songs were the but I saw a song called Worthy Of was on the list???? I've had this album since 2003 and listened to it heaps back then but then I lost it and only found it a month ago and so decided to put it onto my ipod. When I uploaded it onto iTunes I went through all the songs to see if I remembered any of them and I did but when I listened to this song it didn't rang any bells. It ain't listed on the album and I did a search a google and nothing. Is it a hidden track? Or my cd like one a million and special lol I wish. - I have a copy of the CD as well, and it also features Worthy Of, maybe a UK bonus track? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.243.120.140 (talk) 19:48, 25 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

In addition to some copyedit and formatting, I removed the bit about the Super Bowl incident, which really has nothing to do with the album and is covered in the article on the person. Jgm 02:37, 13 Feb 2004 (UTC)

Looks like a reasonable first effort, Kirk. I look forward to seeing more album articles from you in the future. Note that JGM's copyediting is perfectly normal behaviour on the Wikipedia and should be welcomed. One of our other contributors produced great articles on boxing but unfortunately wasn't too hot on grammar and spelling. Nevertheless I was always happy to see new articles from him because his content was great and the rest of us found it easy to fix up the format/grammar/spelling stuff. Also note that all Wikipedia articles are joint efforts, so we don't sign our work directly in the article. However, if you log in before contributing, the Wikipedia software will do that for you in the page history. -- Derek Ross 06:28, 13 Feb 2004 (UTC)

Yes, great job Kirk! You may be interested in checking out Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums as well as Wikipedia:Music standards. I made a few further copyedits to the article, mostly just tweaking the wording, but also to make it more in line with our NPOV policy -- most importantly, the beginning implied that Timberlake had successfully transitioned out of the boy band image, when in fact it's much too early to tell what's going to happen to him. I didn't think the Justified page went up, I tried to delete what I had written after I read Derek's article on Justin Timberlake, which covered much of the same ground. I haven't been back until today, so I'm glad its up and was well recieved. I'm looking at Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums and looking forward to filling any gaps. Thanks for the copyediting. I've changed the second sentence. I hope conveys the same idea. -kirk 09:21, Feb19, 2004 (pst).

3x Platinum

[edit]

On the RIAA site, it is clearly stated in their searchable database that the album has only been certified 3x Platinum and has not yet been certified 4x Platinum as was previously put on this article.

Also his album is not certified 7x platinum either which it is now saying and its one of them that you can't edit or i would...yes he has sold 7 million copies for justified world wide but the world wide platinum is 2 million...therefore he is 3x platinum in the usa, and 3x paltinum world wide

I have taken out the "trivia" about "Rock Your Body" on 3 different pages. Justin Timberlake wrote the song with Hugo & Williams and I have not found anywhere that this song was intended for Michael Jackson. Writing that "it is a widely known fact" that the song was intended for MJ does not make it a widely known fact, especially without references. The only place I could find that piece of trivia was on the "Songfacts" website, which is often wrong and has unsourced information. Marnifrances 02:03, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sales

[edit]

How is it possible, that the European Top 100 Albums have 1mio sales, while the UK has 1.8mio? The UK is included in the European Top 100 Albums according to http://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Europese_Album_Top_100 --84.46.52.233 (talk) 02:07, 25 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Recording time is wrong

[edit]

In the article it says the album was recorded between May 17th 2002 and August 26th 2002. On the page of the song Cry Me A River it also says 2002. However, this cannot be entirely true since in the beginning of the song "Renegade" by Jay-Z and Em one can hear Justin Timberlake singing the chorus ("Cry me a river") and Jay-Z's album "The Blueprint" (which contains the song "Renegade") was released on 9/11, several months before May 17th 2002.88.77.3.39 (talk) 18:36, 31 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
