User talk:Julian C
Hello Julian, welcome to Wikipedia.
You might find these links helpful: How to edit a page, How to write a great article, Naming conventions, Manual of Style. You should read our policies at some point too.
If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump, or ask me on my talk page. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian!
- You can find lots more information, including open tasks and daily tips, at the community portal.
- You can sign your name using three tildes, like this: ~~~. If you use four, you can add a datestamp as well.
- Before saving a page, it's a good idea to use the Show preview button to review your edits. Also, consider writing a summary for each edit.
Again, welcome! Chris Roy 22:14, 31 Mar 2004 (UTC)
P. S. Thanks for your note on the New user log. If you haven't found it already, you might also be interested in the Swedish Wikipedia; you can read more about it here. Have fun!
- Thanks! It feels very nice to be welcomed personally. I've already done a fair amount of looking around at help pages and the like... looks like there's plenty of reading to be done. julian 16:13, Apr 2, 2004 (UTC)
Hi, in case you don't see my reply at Wikipedia:Tutorial (page 1), the reason the link to your user page is an edit link is because you don't have anything on your user page yet. As soon as you do, the link will turn blue. Angela. 16:26, Apr 2, 2004 (UTC)
- Ah, okay, that makes sense. Thanks! -- julian
There was an anonymous removal of you from the list of Swedish-to-English translators. If that was just you logged in anonymously, fine. Otherwise, someone is apparently messing with you. -- Jmabel 01:07, 3 Apr 2004 (UTC)
