Removing the "More citations needed" at the top of the article

[edit]

I have added all the requests for citations from the article, thus, I think that the top {{More citations needed}} template can be safely removed. Having said that, and if no issues arise, I will remove it myself in a couple of weeks.

Moreover, I think that the request for more citations template placed for the Presidential powers section could be removed as well, as said powers are established by the Mexican Constitution. EOZyo (мѕğ) 10:02, 23 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Female version of president

[edit]

Please, stop attempting to «fix» the form presidenta. The word is the valid, accepted, recognized AND recommended female form of president and its use has been documented since the late 1400s. (Diccionario panhispánico de dudas, Diccionario RAE).

Not trying to be pedantic but, please, do not try to use arguments like «that is how it is factually written in the Constitution», as the Constitution uses mostly the male form of words—AKA generic male form (masculino genérico)—to encompass both genders, as in the following examples:

Artículo 55: Para ser diputado
Artículo 91: Para ser Secretario de Estado se requiere…
Artículo 95: Para ser electo ministro
Artículo 109: Los servidores públicos…

Hence, since it is its valid female form, presidenta is included in presidente, when the latter is used as generic male form. EOZyo (мѕğ) 04:15, 11 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
