Born and brought up in Kerala, India. Undergrad at BITS Pilani. Graduate studies in the United States. Holds a doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. Cuurently employed at IBM Research in its Zurich Research Laboratory.

Research Interests include control at the nanoscale and scanning probe microscopy. Has a deep interest in politics, history and theology. Also an avid sports enthusiast.
